Claw back your embarrassing texts with this app

Whatever your reasoning might be, be it social lubricant or otherwise, sending poorly thought out texts is part and parcel of social media in the 21st century.
The brevity at which we think before we send something is, when you think about it, pretty astonishing.
Messages are flying back and fourth nowadays at a much speedier rate than the ravens in Game of Thrones and clawing back your mistaken messages has seemed a futile excercise.
However, luckily for us there is a new app that allows us to do exactly that. Aptly named 'On Second Thought' the program allows you to set a delay of up to one minute on the messages you send.
For those of us partial to flinging out a few memos while drinking there's a handy setting that can hold texts until the morning, where perhaps in the cold light of day you might re-evaluate the wording or abort the message entirely.
The company's founder Maci Peterson attended the Web Summit in Dublin two years ago as she approached the closing of a new funding round.
The app is available on Android now and those interested can sign up for the iPhone beta on the company's website.
