Apple has promised its new iPhone Maps app will improve and admitted it was "just getting started" after customers criticised major omissions and errors. The new Maps app was introduced this week as part of iOS6 and ousts Google Maps as the iPhone's default mapping software. A Tumblr website called The Amazing iOS6 Maps has been compiling reports of missing towns, out-of-date local business information and weirdly bumpy roads.
