With a passion for fashion, the two 19-year-old students always wanted to own their own business. Online fashion emporium affordable women's accessories, Glitz n' Pieces was born from this entrepreneurial drive.

The attractive site sells a range of accessories such as jewellery, scarves, beauty products & technology accessories.

A blog section on the website also keeps all the firm's customers up to date with new stock and fashion advice on creating different looks and styles for wearing these accessories.

The ladies have been thinking big - they offer free delivery worldwide and also intend to expand online with a new section. "Watch this space," they say.

The mission statement:

“To provide fast, efficient, easy access to an affordable fashion accessories online store for all women.”

Our mission statement is vital to our business as we base all our buying of products around this.

We wish to provide 'affordable accessories' for women as we have seen in the current economic climate that women are not purchasing high value accessories.

They cannot include it in their family budget in these tough times.

Glitz n' Pieces can fill that gap in the market.

Top five tips for retail:

1: Customer is always your first obligation.

2: Be different, think outside the box.

3: Appearance does matter.

4: Keep the flame alive.

5: Doing it right costs less then doing it over.

Working in retail can be tough at times and work can pile up on top of you so the motto we always say is "Eat an elephant bit by bit!" as we break down our workload into small pieces.

Trust us it works! Check out the online store here: www.glitznpieces.ie
