It's all about audience, reach and influence and the success of your voice and brand online is catching the eye of brands and publishers more and more.

On this week's Ready Business show, Brian Purcell speaks to two bloggers, Indy Power of TheLittleGreenSpoon.com, and Sinead Carroll of YummyMummy.eu.com and founder of the Irish Blogger Agency, to find out how they grew their blog into a commercial success.

For Sinead, the recession and her career in banking gave her the opportunity to strike out on her own and between 2013-2016 she started YummyMummy, Into the West blogger network, MiniMedia, and now the Irish Blogger Agency, connecting social media influencers with brands.

For Indy, what started out as a lifestyle choice to focus on healthy food and eating in college has now become a full-time career as one of the rising food writers in Ireland. 

With nearly 50,000 followers on Instagram, a new book out, and a weekly food column with the Irish Independent Weekend, her passion and voice is proof that, ‘being yourself is what’s most important’ when it comes to the business of blogging.
