Ryanair passenger numbers jump to 9.5m in June
Ryanair has reported a 14pc hike in passenger numbers to 9.5m for the month of June.
This compared to 8.3m customers carried by the airline in the same period last year, an increase of 1.2m.
The load factor - or how many seats it fills on each flight - also jumped to 93pc from 88pc compared with the same period last year.
So far Ryanair’s rolling annual traffic has increased by 14pc to 94.3m customers.
Ryanair Chief Marketing Officer, Kenny Jacobs put the increase in traffic down to the company’s “stronger forward bookings and the continuing success of our ‘Always Getting Better’ customer experience improvement programme”.
