Regulation review to be fast-tracked

TAOISEACH Brian Cowen confirmed to a credit unions' conference at the weekend that the Government will fast-track a review of credit union regulation.
Spanish finances 'better than here'
SPAIN'S public finances are healthier than Ireland's, the IMF's former chief economist has said. They are also better than those of Greece and Portugal, Kenneth Rogoff told 'El Pais' newspaper.
Firms view cost cuts as solution

Offer of postcode consultancy work
THE Department of Communications has issued a tender for consultants to work on the implementation of a national postcode system. The system is due to be in use by the end of the year.
