Killaghtee House, a 19th century house with commercial leanings at Dunkineely, Co Donegal, has been on the market for several years now, with its price dropping steadily.
Built in 1856, the main house stands on 1.4 acres with sea views. It's on three floors, with three reception rooms, six bedrooms and five bathrooms, and has the makings of a B&B.
The ground also include a refurbished stone-built cottage, consisting of an open-plan living/dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and one bedroom upstairs.
There's also a modern commercial building of 1,400 square feet, which has been used as an art gallery and seminar centre, and a 1,200 square-foot hayshed.
Killaghtee House is in the village of Dunkineely, beside the old school and the Church of Ireland church, and less than 20 kilometres from Donegal town.
It was first listed in 2010 with an asking price of €645,000. It's now for sale for €338,000 through Franklins in Letterkenny (074 918 8000).
