Seekers in Kenmare

Kenmare, Co Kerry, features in the 'Harry Potter' series as the home of the Kenmare Kestrels quidditch team, whose mascot, predictably enough, is a leprechaun.
In real life, the pastimes of visitors to Kenmare are more likely to include golf, hiking, and travelling anti-clockwise by bus around the Ring of Kerry.
Dunshin is a detached house on an elevated 0.61-acre site at Dromnevane, outside Kenmare. It has 1,938 square feet of accommodation including, on the ground floor, a living room with views of the Caha Mountains, a kitchen/dining room with double doors to the patio, a utility room and a guest toilet.
There's also one en-suite bedroom on the ground floor. The other three bedrooms - one en-suite - are upstairs, along with the main bathroom.
It's about 15 minutes' walk from the square in Kenmare, and 95 kilometres from Cork. Sherry FitzGerald Daly in Kenmare (064 664 1213) is handling the sale of Dunshin for €290,000.
