New home view: Terraced dwellings near city and M7
Castlerock, Castleconnell, Co Limerick
Castleconnell is a popular part of Limerick given it's out of the city location and riverside ambiance.
Castlerock is a small development of three-bed terraced houses and there are currently five left on sale.
Four are mid-terrace properties measuring 968 sq ft while one is end-of-terrace, larger at 1,033 sq ft and on a corner site. They are priced at €115,000 and €132,000 respectively.
The interior of the mid-terraces is a kitchen/dining room with separate living room and downstairs WC. French doors lead out into the garden, which are a good size and grassed. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one ensuite and a main bathroom. The layout of the end of terrace is slightly different downstairs with the extra space incorporated into the existing rooms. Heating is by natural gas.
All carry a BER rating of B3 from developer JJ Fleming. Front doors are black hardwood and windows are uPVC double-glazed. Driveways are paved with low shrubbery separating the units out front. The rear has fencing between properties and brick back walls.
The development is located off the main Dublin road (M7) at the Castleconnell turn-off, near the Castle Oaks Hotel. The Shannon flows to the West of the estate and Limerick city is 14km away. Annacotty Business Park is 7.5km.
Viewing is by appointment with the agent.

COASTAL HOMES OFFER EASY ACCESS TO DUBLIN
Whitefield Manor is in a seaside location but with the emphasis firmly on Dublin commuters with strong transport links being promoted as a key feature.
This mature mixed estate has three, four and five-bed family homes on offer and city centre workers can get to and from the office by train.
The properties themselves are built by Mycete Developments in a mottled brown/grey brick with a cream render finish above one of the top windows. There are hardwood front doors with leaded glass side panels and a wooden arch coving above. Driveways are cobble-locked with lawn edged in brick. Capped brick walls separate the units and also the front gardens.
The properties for sale are all 'extended' styles, i.e. there is a conservatory-type extension to the rear of the kitchen/dining area meaning it can be used as extra living space.
The three-bed semi-detached measures 1,298 sq ft and encompasses a kitchen/dining room, lounge and WC downstairs. The first floor has the three bedrooms (one ensuite) and bathroom. There is only one left in this type and is on the market for €225,000.
The four bed is similarly styled but measures 1,480 sq ft. There are three of these available at €250,000 including the show house, which is yet to be priced.
The five-bed is detached measuring 1,997 sq ft and is priced at €340,000. There are two, but again, one is a show house. It's built over three floors with a kitchen/dining room, lounge and WC on the ground floor; four bedrooms, ensuite and bathroom on the first floor with the upper floor given to a master bedroom.

There are five semi-detached and one detached three-bedroom houses left at Lake Drive which is 1km on the Dublin side of Portlaoise.
Built by Bresc Construction, each of the houses has had the garage converted into an extra reception room, which can be used variously as a home office, playroom or television room. It is appended to the side of the kitchen/dining room. There is also a separate sitting room and guest WC on the ground floor while upstairs has three bedrooms, one is ensuite, and a family bathroom.
The overall floor space is 1,155 sq ft. The semi-detached units are selling for €170,000 while the detached is €180,000. This development is built in a semi-circle around a green, but it is also a self-contained 'village' with shops, tennis courts, playing fields and walk ways in the nearby commercial area. Kilminchy has around 1,200 houses in total and is adjacent to the Midland Regional Hospital.
