Sixteen luxury homes in Raheny in Dublin sold out in the space of three hours, making it the fastest new home sell-out so far this year.

The four and five-bedroom houses, ranging from €660,000 to €900,000, were developed by MKN Property Group, which is also responsible for the luxury Seascape scheme in Clontarf.

The development at Lonsdale 726-728 Howth Road was launched at 3pm on Thursday and was sold out by 6pm. Selling agent Conor Gallagher, of Gallagher Quigley, told the Irish Independent that they had about 175 enquiries over the past 12 months regarding the luxury homes.

The selling agents then had a pre-launch list of about 25 buyers who were genuinely interested and were given a walk-through of the properties on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Future viewings will still continue as there is a cancellation list in operation.
