To celebrate joining Ireland's Blue Book they have a family fun package for a family of two adults, two children priced from €511. High fashion sunglasses

Aviator sunglasses are all the rage again this year and our eyes were caught (excuse the pun) by this attractive pair of Ocean Revo Aviators from Accessorize which are far cheaper than we would expect for the quality. Including an option of gold or silver rims, they come with distinctive ocean blue lenses and are UV protected. Costing just €15.90, they're available nationwide while stocks last. See www.eu.accessorize.com for more information on the Summer Holiday range from Accessorize and in stores for availability.

Blossom walk

This coming Saturday and Sunday take a tour of an incredibly popular working orchard in Drogheda, hear the engaging history of a 200-acre farm that was at the centre of the economy in the area many years ago, how bees play an important role in the production of apples, then sample the cider and apple juice that the farm supplies. Every year Olan McNeece opens Boyne Grove Fruit Farms orchards just outside of Drogheda itself to the public, charging just €5 per adult for admission (children go free). All proceeds go to local charities The Drogheda Homeless Aid and the SOSAD Organisation.

Olan is a fantastic, informative story-teller. We made the trip last year and found the tour exceptional value, and the produce we sampled was amongst the best cider, juice, and vinegar we'd ever tasted. This year Dan Kelly's new Whiskey Barrel Cider will also be available for sampling. For more information contact Boyne Grove Farms: Tel +353 87 257 0524
