Old Boland's Mills firm liquidated

The firm that was originally set to redevelop the historic Boland's Mill site in Dublin is finally set to be wound up more than three years after going into receivership.
A liquidator has recently been appointed to Versus Limited, which previously traded as the Boland's Mill Development Company and was controlled by developer Sean Kelly.
Mr Kelly originally paid €42m for the Boland's Mill site and planned a high-profile redevelopment of the plot including the construction of 67 apartments and over 13,000 sq m of office space. However the firm went into receivership after incurring heavy losses.
Planning permission was recently granted for the redevelopment of the Boland's Mills site, inset. Nama will finance its €150m mixed use development, which will provide 36,759 sq m of office, residential and retail space.
