New app to bolster media campaign for chocolate fans

Thursday February 09 2012

THIS month sees Cadbury Dairy Milk launch the second instalment of its "Taste" campaign.

In a €750,000 integrated marketing campaign, Cadbury Dairy Milk will try to tempt consumers by highlighting the "rich taste and unique heritage" that makes Dairy Milk so popular.

Commenting on the new Cadbury Dairy Milk campaign, Greta Hammel, marketing manager for chocolate, Kraft Foods Ireland, said: "Last September's campaign really caught the imagination of the Irish public and saw Cadbury Dairy Milk achieve a significant growth in market share. This campaign will aim to further excite and delight chocolate lovers by utilising new platforms and delivering engaging creative executions."

A new version of the "Share A Square" Smartphone App will offer chocolate lovers a bar of chocolate when they share with friends. The TV creative developed by Publicis QMP will return to our screens while new outdoor executions will show the evolution of the campaign.

The campaign, in February and March, will feature ads, digital, TV, outdoor, PR, social media, sampling and experiential activation developed with agency partners Publicis QMP, PHD Ireland and MCsquared.
