Three key appointments made at the 'Irish Independent'

Kevin Doyle (28) has been appointed as News Editor and will head up the country's busiest and most dynamic newsroom.
A native of Ferbane, Co Offaly, Kevin is a graduate of Dublin City University, where he studied journalism.
He worked in the 'Herald' for more than five years, where he served as political reporter and News Editor.
He previously worked as a sports and news reporter on the 'Tullamore Tribune'.
Cormac Bourke has been appointed Executive Editor.
The award-winning journalist, a graduate of DCU, joined the Irish Independent in 2007 and has held the roles of News Editor and Assistant Editor (News). In his new role, the father of four will play a key role in day-to-day news generation.
He will also be involved in strategic planning in the context of a digital first newsroom and overseeing special investigations.
Donal O'Donovan has been appointed Deputy Business Editor at the Irish Independent.
He was previously Senior Business Reporter. Before joining the Irish Independent in 2010, Donal held a number of posts at Thomson Reuters in London. Originally from Castleconnell Co Limerick, the UCC graduate attended Ardscoil Ris in Limerick city and began his career as a reporter at Limerick's Live 95fm.
