Taking action on violence
As the festive season gets under way, unfortunately it's also a time of the year when domestic violence increase substantially in Ireland. To highlight this growing problem, a new advertising campaign has been launched by Cosc, the National Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence.
Created by Dublin-based creative agency Cawley NeaTBWA, with media buying and planning by PHD, the campaign is called "You're not a Bystander, You're a Witness".
It tells witnesses of domestic violence about their options when it comes to reporting it to the appropriate channels, including a new website, www.whatwouldyoudo.ie
