The Audi Dublin International Film Festival has appointed Irish actor and writer Mark O’Halloran and film publicist and communications professional Suzanne Noble to its board of directors.

The group has also confirmed that the managing director role will be filled by Sarah Sharkey.

Sharkey, who began her career at Opera Theatre Company, previously worked at Warner Bros as a media manager for over three years, before joining the film festival as sponsorship manager in 2016.

“I’m delighted to be welcoming such highly regarded professionals to the festival’s board,” Gaby Symth, the Audi Dublin International Film festival Chairman, said.

Over the past 15 years the festival has hosted over 500 major guests, and has screened world cinema from 52 different countries.

The group also confirmed that they are moving to new offices in Dublin’s Digital Hub.
