Murrays square up to creative challenge

TRADITIONALLY a public relations agency, Dublin-based Murray Consultants has just launched a new standalone 'Consumer & Brands' division.

Dubbed 'MCsquared', the new venture describes itself as a "full-service brand communications agency", drawing expertise from a range of staffers with backgrounds in journalism, arts, marketing and new media.

"While PR is at our core, we pride ourselves on being a creative agency which thinks more widely than media relations, and understands how to create interest both on and offline," says MCsquared director Nicky Crichton, pointing to Murray's previous work on established brands like Cadbury and Kellogg's and new ones like Love Irish Food and Trebor Gum, handled by the agency.
