The Boyne Valley-owned McDonnells has launched a new campaign to promote its original curry sauce, which has become the top-selling curry sauce in the market. The campaign follows on from previous ones which promoted McDonnells Thai and Indian range of sauces.

The €1m campaign was created by the Dublin-based agency Boys and Girls and will run across both digital and TV platforms over the next 18 months. Featuring the likeable Conor from previous campaigns, the current ad sees him transported to a mansion and a more international setting where he is surrounded by waiters offering him canapes which are duly dismissed in favour of his favourite dish of Chips Curry.
