Campaign of the week: Tynan's wake-up call campaign over issues of suicide and self-harm

The acclaimed IFTA-winning Irish film director Dave Tynan has created a new TV ad for Electric Ireland as part of its sponsorship of the forthcoming Darkness into Light run in aid of Pieta House.

Called 'Wake Up', the ad was created by Electric Ireland's agency TBWA Dublin and it complements 'The National Wake Up Call'; a rallying cry to the people of Ireland to wake up to the critical issue of suicide and self-harm in Ireland. The campaign will incorporate TV, online video, radio, social media and native content for the month of April.

Electric Ireland has been sponsoring the annual Darkness into Light event for the past number of years and it has become a vital fund-raising platform for Pieta House every year.

The Darkness into Light run takes place on May 6th throughout Ireland.
