Let the games begin: recruitment awards open to entries
PICTURED at the launch of this year's Recruitment Industry Awards are Jonah Reid (3), from Meath, with Abigail Cepeda (8) and Sean Webster (3), from Dublin.
The launch marks the start of a judging process that will culminate in a gala ceremony recognising the country's most successful recruiters. The awards, run by the National Recruitment Federation (NRF), are one of the main calendar events for the industry.
The NRF is a voluntary body set up to establish and maintain standards and codes of practice for the recruitment industry in Ireland, a sector that generated €1.6bn in 2012, up from €1.4bn the year before.
The awards are open to all of its member agencies. They will be judged by an independent panel, including Priority Management managing director Dermot Rice and Recruitment Employment Confederation UK policy head Kate Shoesmith.
The closing date for entries is October 2.
