The Grafton Street outlet is the first of six new branches set to be rolled out across Dublin this year. The new store will be followed by five other Chopped franchises across North County Dublin, South County Dublin and Dublin City Centre in the first half of 2016.

The new franchise adds to Chopped's wholly owned stores in Ballsbridge, Baggott Street, and Fairview.

Speaking about the opening of the new store, Chopped co-founder and managing director, Brian Lee, said: “This new Chopped outlet is situated in the heart of Dublin city centre on one of Ireland’s most famous and busiest streets.

"We’re looking forward to providing everyone from tourists to students with the Chopped experience. More people want well-balanced, nutritious meals and we are passionate about providing everyone with the food they want.”

Ciaran Killalea, new franchisee of Chopped at 109 Grafton Street said: “After careful consideration and exploring a number of options and opportunities we knew that Chopped was the only choice for our location.

"Working with Brian and the team at Chopped we have devised an offering that will deliver the best, most delicious and healthiest food for anyone who visits our Chopped outlet. We can’t wait to welcome people to Chopped Grafton Street.”
