Windsor Motors fleet deal gets all-clear

The proposed acquisition of Autolease Fleet Management by Windsor Motors and Irish Bison Ltd, has been cleared by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
Under the deal, Ray Coyle - best known as the owner of the Tayto and Hunky Dory crisp brands - will come in alongside Windsor Motors in the fleet management division, which is being spun-out into a separate structure and will trade under the Sixt brand name.
Windsor controls Nissan's distribution network in Ireland, it is owned by the Kuwaiti Al-Babtain family.
