Hi °C | Lo °C IT'S been a reasonable few days on the jobs front, with several foreign multinationals saying they will hire more people here. Among other announcements, last week EA Games said it will hire 300 more staff in Galway while Arvato Finance is taking on 100 more people in Dublin.
Those jobs are very welcome indeed but many of those positions will be highly skilled or require a foreign language. They certainly won't suit everyone. With this in mind, Argos's plan to take on 650 people for the Christmas period is a welcome one. In short, you won't need a PhD in physics to have a chance of getting a job there.
