Waterford guesthouse is sold after auction

A Waterford guesthouse was one of the properties to feature at recent commercial auctions. Waterford Commercial, agents for Diamond Hill Country House, Slieverue, Waterford, withdrew the property from auction when the bidding petered out at €350,000 and sold it later. It had a €395,000 AMV and came with 16 en suite bedrooms, a penthouse apartment and a two-bedroom lodge on 1.5 acres.

In Carlow, a Health Service Executive (HSE) property, Kelvin Grove, was withdrawn at auction. Agents Sothern Real Estate Alliance had slashed the price from €5m to €1.5m for the 930sqm period house on an eight acre site.

In Dublin, Unit L2 Ballymount Industrial Estate, comprising 1,211sqm, which includes 684sqm of offices, was withdrawn at a recent auction. Agents Lisney are still guiding €700,000.
