The world's most famous lingerie company is set to fill the three storey premises currently occupied by BT2, a sister firm to luxury department store Brown Thomas.

According to a report in The Irish Times, Victoria's Secret is in "advanced talks" to take over the 30,000 sq ft space.

A spokesperson for Brown Thomas said yesterday that "no deal had been signed" yet on the lease.

The move may attract a flurry of younger consumers to Dublin's high street as the firm has made significant progress in revenue in its UK store, which opened in London in 2015. Victoria's Secret opened their first Irish store - a concession in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport - in 2013.

A spokesperson for Brown Thomas said the firm had 'no comment' on the potential deal.
