United Drug lines out with support for Special Olympics
UNITED Drug boss Liam FitzGerald and Ireland rugby star Tomas O'Leary come together with athletes to celebrate the drug giant's appointment as an official supplier for the 2010 Special Olympics Ireland Games.
The deal will see United Drug provide cash support and medical supplies to the games, while the drug firm's employees will also volunteer at the event. "This is an exceptional opportunity for us to contribute to the success of the games and the celebration of Ireland's talented athletes," said Mr FitzGerald.
Special Olympics Ireland fundraising and sponsorship manager Ciara Tallon, meanwhile, says the support of United Drug and other firms "will go a long way to ensuring that the 2010 Special Olympics Ireland Games are a huge success".
The games will take place from June 9 to 13 in Limerick.
