THE Turkish and Belgian embassies are poised to acquire two former offices of financier Derek Quinlan (above) in Dublin 4.

Knight Frank Ireland is close to selling Quinlan's period office at 8 Raglan Road for over €6m to the Turks on the instruction of a receiver for Nama. A sale has been delayed as the Turks await confirmation that the building can be easily converted from an office to an embassy.

And Quinlan's office on nearby Elgin Road is being eyed up by Belgium with a price tag of €3m.

Quinlan will have lost money on both sales with the Raglan Road property costing him €7.3m and 1 Elgin Road costing €6.5m.
