Trim Town Council and Meath County Council are selling 3.16 acres of town centre development land adjoining the new headquarters office building of the Office of Public Works in Trim, Co Meath.
Set beside the main shopping streets of Emmett Street, Market Street and Watergate Street, the site is zoned as "new town centre activities". Joint agents Lisney and Smith Harrington are guiding €2.5m for the property and say it could appeal to developers, investors and retailers.

The local authorities are also willing to sell a further 2.3 acres and the combined 5.5 acre plot has a current planning permission for 25,000 sqm retail and shopping centre development and 144 residential units.
