The Square proves popular in Naas

Two retailers, Specsavers and Buy Art Sell Art, have taken units at a new high street development at North Main Street, Naas, known locally as Popular Square. While not disclosing the rents, the agents Jones Lang La Salle are now quoting rents of €150,000 per annum for a 236sqm ground floor retail unit in the same development.

It is also quoting €55,000 per annum rent for a 275sqm restaurant which extends over two levels and has two attractive design features, including an open first floor area overlooking a courtyard and a mezzanine floor overlooking the town.

Specsavers has taken a single-floor 112sqm unit on a long-term lease. Buy Art Sell Art, an Irish art gallery, has taken a 58sqm unit on two levels. Both are very pleased with trading results to date.
