A HIGH-HEELED suede shoe boot costing €75 was one of the top sellers at Christmas as Marks & Spencer's Irish customers flocked online.
"During the festive period, we saw 57 per cent of online orders touch our Irish stores with in-store collections and orders — in fact 25 per cent of orders were placed by customers whilst shopping in our stores," according to M&S Irish boss Jonathan Glenister.
Other top sellers included a Per Una Pleated Shoulder Jacquard Dress, Denim 5 Pocket Jeggings and the Blue Harbour Quilted Heritage Jacket costing €109.
Last week M&S shocked the markets when it emerged that its UK business had performed poorly over the key Christmas period. Irish retailers are believed to have experienced the strongest festive trading period in years.
