Staff give thumbs-up to job conditions
STAFF at the existing PayPal operation in Dublin yesterday welcomed the news.
They said those lucky enough to secure the new positions were likely to enjoy their working conditions.
One worker said: "They are great employers. You get a lot of freedom and benefits and it's very good work.
"It is different countries (represented in the office). It's Spain; it's Italy; it's France and the atmosphere is nice."
While there may not be Google-like fridges full of soft drinks or games rooms, those who work for the American company enjoy excellent conditions, staff said.
Aside from medical health insurance, they get five weeks' holidays, "good rates of pay" and a four-week paid sabbatical after five years of service.
