"The roles are not necessarily for people who have had career in hospitality but people who have the right attitude and desire to deliver quality of service to guests," Mr Hannon said.

The JP McManus-owned hotel is expected to open in October this year, however, speaking to Independent.ie, Colm Hannon, ceo of Adarre Manor, said that what was most important for the team was to have the hotel perfect before it opens its doors.

"We have 840 acres, and our desire is to enable guests to enjoy as much of it as possible, as part of this we have created walks and trails, and restored historical features," Mr Hannon said.

The hotel expanded from 62 bedrooms to 104 and Mr Hannon expects to welcome around 60,000 visitors annually.

It is expected that the hotel will contribute in excess of €15m to the local economy each year.

Candidates will be informed of the interview outcomes by the end of July.
