Sky's the limit for pupils after their big win

Norkom Technologies, a leading provider of financial crime and compliance software solutions to the global financial services industry, awarded €25,000 to inner-city school students who took part in its annual Education in the Community competition at an awards ceremony held in Dublin's historic Mansion House, on Friday, May 13.

Synge Street CBS and Presentation College, Warrenmount, secured first and second prizes respectively in the overall competition. In addition, six transition year students from four Dublin inner-city-based secondary schools will be awarded with scholarships totalling €15,000 to help towards funding life at third-level college.
