SKY is hiring another 40 staff in Ireland as it revamps its retail store network around the country.
The media giant said it had begun a "review and redesign" of its 36 retail stores and will increase the headcount in its stores from 60 to 100.
The company said it was making the move as part of its "continuing investment in its Irish operations, people and products, and to greatly improve the face-to-face experience for customers visiting Sky stores nationwide".
The new roles vary from field-based staff to head office support roles.
Sky Ireland's head of retail, Stephen Butterly, explained that the move was "another step forward" for his company here.
"It builds on our ongoing commitment to invest in our Irish operations, and reinforces our market-leading position as Ireland's most popular digital TV provider," he said.
