Skechers puts its foot down on Henry Street

SKECHERS, a global footwear trader, has signed up to open a new Shuz 4 U store on Henry Street, Dublin. It has agreed to pay a headline rent of €350,000 per annum for 4 Henry St, owned by Irish Life. The property has a total floor area of 556sqm over five floors.

In addition to the Henry St store, due to open in October, Skechers also has a franchise agreement with Shuz 4 U to open stores across Ireland and has identified potential opportunities for its plans for a rollout of the additional stores over the next five years.

Skechers operates in more than 100 countries and territories around the world under a mixture of company-owned franchises and licensed stores. Karl Stewart, retail director of DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald acted for Skechers and John Garvey of Lisney acted for Irish Life.
