SISK expands further into healthcare with acquisition

SISK Group has announced the acquisition of Eschmann, an international manufacturer of equipment for hospitals, and dental practices.

Eschmann employs around 200 people and its total revenue last year was €29m.

Based in the UK with an office in Singapore, Eschmann supplies the UK market as well as elsewhere in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

“This acquisition marks a further important step in SISK Group’s continuing expansion, diversification and internationalisation of its business,” said SISK Group CEO Liam Nagle.

“Despite the challenging global economic climate we have the ability and desire to grow and develop our business, building on our strength and traditions.”

Managing director of Eschmann Philip Kennedy said, “Eschmann is 180 years old this year, and we are delighted to be joining a business like SISK Group, which celebrated its 150th anniversary last year."

"What we have in common is a respect for our long corporate history, and a focus on building on our traditions and values to develop and grow into the future.”
