A seminar on a range of retail rental issues due to take place tomorrow has been rescheduled until Thursday, December 9, two days after the Budget.
Turnover rents, the ban on upwards-only rents, landlords' response to tenant problems and management charges are among the topics to be discussed.
Hosted by Leman Solicitors in conjunction with property consultants Knight Frank, the seminar will take place at their offices 8-34 Percy Place, Dublin 4,
Kieron Diamond, head of Knight Frank retail, will discuss how turnover rent is attracting increased interest as they give both tenant and landlord equity in that they share the risk.
"This type of leasing agreement encourages risk-takers and encourages retail innovation and new ideas,." he adds.
While not suiting all retailers, he says they have advantages for strong retailers.
