SEAN FitzPatrick, the former chairman of Anglo Irish Bank, has been publicly declared bankrupt in Iris Oifigiuil, the official journal of the Irish State.
As part of the High Court proceedings against him, Mr FitzPatrick had to be named in the journal and his name and address are included in the latest edition.
Anybody who is claiming to be a creditor of the former Anglo Irish chief must send proof to Christopher Lehane, the official assignee of the High Court, before August 19.
Anglo Irish is pressing for the appointment of a trustee to handle the seizure and sale of Mr FitzPatrick's assets.
Mr FitzPatrick is out of the country at present.
He is believed to be denying any claims that he transferred money out of a retirement fund for the benefit of his wife.
