Financier Shane Reihill earned about 41m when his venture capital firm TVC Holdings was delisted from stockmarkets in 2013. It has made good returns from stakes on Norkom and other tech companies. London-based Reihill is part of the Tedcastle Reihill dynasty, with his wing of the family sharing about 70m when they were bought out of the business.
He is a championship poker player. Last year a low-profile generic drugs company controlled by Reihill, Consilient Health, shared a record £27.4m (35.8m) damages payment after winning a five-year legal battle with pharma giant AstraZeneca.
