Mark Roden owns a majority stake in fast-growing mobile payments company, Ding. Dubliner Roden reinvented himself after a telecoms business went bust in the first dotcom boom. Ten years later, Ding is now hitting annual revenues of $500m. Roden, a dentistry student dropout, left Trinity early and went to work for Denis O'Brien, helping start up Esat.
