Ballaghaderreen, Co Roscommon's Morrisroe set up The Now Factory, which delivered analytical services to the world's largest telecommunications operators.

It employed more than 200 people, helping clients in managing more than 500m telecom subscribers worldwide. IBM splurged $125m to buy the company in 2013. He netted about €74m. Previously he was a co-owner of Arantech, which was bought for €76m in 2009.
