Eamonn Quinn (52) and his four brothers and sisters Donal (37), Stephen (45), Zoe (40) and Gilliane (49) owned a 55pc stake in grocery chain Superquinn, which was bought by property developers for €420m. After tax, each of them pocketed about €33m.
Howth-based Eamonn is a Dragon on the hit RTÉ series Dragon's Den and is a serious investor in technology groups including innovative lighting firm Nualight, food safety sensor group Kelsius and data crucher yReceipts. Gilliane is involved with a juice business. Donal runs the family investment arm, which had punts on Eddie O'Connor's Airtricity, which was sold for €1.1bn and PC maker Dell.
