Retail space with €700,000 AMV in a shopping hotspot

A shop in the main shopping precinct of Wexford Town will go for auction on July 8 with an AMV of €700,000.

Formerly accommodating Marlowe's Dry Cleaners, 7 South Main Street, Wexford Town is offered for sale by the owner, who is retiring.

The three-storey over-basement property accommodates 1,335 sq ft of ground floor retail space and 1,335 sq ft in the basement.

It also has planning permission for a two-storey extension to the rear, which would add 385 sq ft to each of these floors. The basement also benefits from access to a substantial car park at the rear.

There is also separate access to two upper floors, which for many years were used as a dentist's surgery.

Agent Barry Kehoe points out that its location is on a prime retail pitch and adjacent occupiers include Penneys, Carrig Donn, Wexford Book Centre, A-Wear, Peter Mark, Sam McCauley and Pamela Scott.
