Richard Quirke, the owner of Dr Quirkey's amusement arcades, is asking €5.5m for a factory he is selling in Co Meath.
His company Baycross Developments, bought the former NEC semiconductors manufacturing plant in Ballivor, Co Meath in late 2008.
Two years earlier the Japanese NEC parent had closed the 12,500sqm industrial facility with offices and outbuildings where over 600 people were once employed.
Now Mr Quirke's agents, PJ Broderick & Co., are offering the 18.8 acre property in one or two lots, with lot one comprising the buildings, car park, green area and lot two comprising five acres of land with an entrance from the Kinnegad Road.
Located on the R156 road, it is 45km west of Dublin City.
It is zoned for light industrial office type employment.
