Planning Act on conference agenda

The implications of the new Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 will be explained at the autumn conference of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI), which will be held in the Morrison Hotel, Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, on Thursday, October 14.
The keynote address will be given by the Minister of State for Sustainable Transport, Horticulture, Planning and Heritage Ciaran Cuffe, and other speakers will include Eamon Galligan SC, environmental and planning law expert; Ronan Webster, development land expert at CB Richard Ellis, real estate consultants and Cllr Tom Kelleher, Fingal County Council, as well as speakers on the new act from the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government.
