Sky Ireland has launched its biggest ever multi-media marketing campaign to promote its broadband and phone services nationwide.
The €10m campaign, which was launched yesterday, features TV, press, radio and outdoor advertising. It marks Sky's move into the lucrative "triple play" category of phone, internet and TV services, which is currently dominated in Ireland by UPC.
The centrepiece of the campaign is a 60-second TV ad starring one of Ireland's most successful actors, Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan, which takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to highlight the arrival of Sky broadband.
Launching the campaign, Sky Ireland's director of sales and marketing Mark Anderson said people were "excited".
Brosnan said it was "great to be involved in the launch. I always love returning home whether for work or on holiday and this was no different."
