Hi °C | Lo °C Pepper Asset Servicing has appointed Brian Berg as head of commercial real estate, as part of the company's expanding Irish operation.
This follows CarVal Investors appointment of Pepper to asset manage the €380m Pittsburgh portfolio of Irish loans which CarVal Investors acquired from Lloyds last month. Pepper has made a €3m co-investment in the portfolio, the company's first investment in an Irish commercial property portfolio. Arrow Asset Management is also involved.
A graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology, Brian Berg has managed and disposed of numerous retail-driven schemes and investments in Ireland, the UK, US and Belgium.
