The organisation that oversees the North's water supply, which saw half of its board sacked on Friday after an internal inquiry, is set for further independent investigation.
Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy dismissed the chairman and three non-executive directors on the board of Northern Ireland Water.
The move followed a damning report into the mishandling of lucrative contracts and will now be followed by a second internal investigation of staff.
