The State’s largest private landlord, IRES, has appointed Declan Moylan as chairman of the company.

Mr Moylan takes over the position having previously served as the company’s Senior Independent Director. He replaces Colm Ó Nualláin who is to retire from the board.

Aidan O’ Hogan will fill the role vacated by Mr Moylan who takes up his new position from tomorrow onwards.

"I am very pleased to be appointed Chairman of IRES following Colm's retirement. I have been proud to serve as a director and I look forward to assuming my new responsibilities as Chairma,” Mr Moylan said.

“IRES has made significant progress in recent years in providing a much needed professionally managed product to the Irish market. I believe our focused approach will build on this success in the years ahead in the interests of both tenants and shareholders," he added.
