Leslie Buckley (64) is a founding director of the Digicel telecommunications group, which has over seven million subscribers and operations across the Caribbean, Central America and South Pacific.
He was involved in the start-up of Esat Telecom plc and Esat Digifone, and was acting chief operating officer of Esat Telecom. As a senior business consultant, he was involved in the restructuring of Waterford Crystal plc and the restructuring and sale of Irish Steel.
Lucy Gaffney
Lucy Gaffney (49) is a founding director of the Caribbean, Central America and South Pacific telecoms group, Digicel.
She was chief operating officer of Esat Telecom in Ireland when it was acquired by BT in January 2000. Prior to joining Esat Telecom, Ms Gaffney was managing director of The Ideas Company.
Ms Gaffney is currently chairperson of Communicorp, an independent radio group.
She is also a former director of Ulster Bank.
Paul Connolly
Paul Connolly (49) is chairman of Connolly Corporate Finance Ltd, a Dublin and New York-based corporate finance advisory firm focused on the telecom, media and technology sectors.
He was a director of Esat Telecom from 1997 to 2000, where he oversaw all its capital market transactions. He was also a director of telecoms group Digicel Ltd from 2000 to 2006, and was financial controller of Hibernia Meats Limited from 1987 through 1991.
